Sat, Jan 13 2018 @ 6:30 PM - 9:30 PM UTC-6
Roadside Glorious is a high energy, southern rock band from New Orleans, LA. Known for their high octane performances featuring dueling guitars, guitar harmonies, and soulful singing, the band is quickly gaining recognition in the southeast and the New Orleans music scene. In the past year, RG has shared the stage with New Orleans legends David Batiste Sr. and Damon Batiste, followed the Brass-A- Holics and opened for Hot 8 Brass Band at the Carver Theater in New Orleans, played shows with Russell Batiste, Jonathan “Boogie” Long, Dave Jordan and the NIA and toured extensively in Louisiana, Alabama, Mississippi, Georgia, Florida, Texas, North Carolina, and South Carolina. The band released a 4 track EP recorded at Word of Mouth Studios in New Orleans in August and will be recording their debut LP at FAME Studios in Muscle Shoals, AL in November of 2017 with sound engineer John Gifford III. Gifford has worked with classic artists such as Greg Allman, Phish, and Royal Southern Brotherhood. Well known New Orleans artists are going to be featured on the album, including Ian Bowman of Naughty Professor, Mario Palmisano and John-Michael Early of Flow Tribe, Jordan Anderson of Jordan Anderson Band, and Cyrus Nabipoor of Sexual Thunder and Noruz. Roadside Glorious consists of founding members Evan Hall (lead guitar), Basch Jernigan
(vocals, guitar, harmonica), Tyler Self (bass) , and Aydan Closson (drums). Hall, born and raised in New Orleans, has long been involved in the New Orleans music scene, playing and touring
with bands such as Flow Tribe and Big Chief Alfred Dousette. Self, another New Orleans native, is a NOCCA graduate and has studied under Chris Severin. Jernigan and Closson, both from
Gulf Shores, AL, have long been playing music together in Alabama, notably playing at Hangout Fest in Gulf Shores in 2011.
With a growing fan base and a Muscle Shoals record on the horizon, Roadside Glorious plans to tour even more extensively in 2018, establishing themselves as a well-known act in the New
Orleans music scene and the southeast.
